The North East Postgraduate (NEPG) Conference is one of the largest annual student led biomedical sciences conferences in the UK. Historically, the conference has been hosted in Newcastle, at a number of the city’s key landmarks including the University of Newcastle, the Great North Museum, and more recently Newcastle Civic Centre. For the first time in its history, the NEPG will be held at a selection of Hub Locations across the North of England.  

For the last 15 years, delegates have travelled to the city of Newcastle for a day full of exciting new research presented by postgraduate students, as well as fascinating talks by speakers, and valuable skill-based workshops. The NEPG conference offers an excellent opportunity not only to present an oral presentation or poster, but to also network with fellow like-minded enthusiastic early career researchers. Here at the NEPG conference, we take great pride in offering a diverse selection of key research themes, meaning that there is something to interest everyone!
